A global rebrand. From brand strategy to identity and beyond
Once 19th century warehouse for ale and rum the Baltic Hotel has now been painstakingly renovated to a beautiful place to stay, unwind and explore.
Approached by the ambitious Town Hotels group to create a hotel brand with a difference for their exciting and fiercely independent new venue The Baltic Hotel.
Situated in the heart of the city’s creative and digital district, the Baltic Triangle, the hotel will challenge the big global chains reflecting the city’s true personality.






The brand concept is centred around energy and personality. Graphically we have selected shifting type and a juxtaposed palette of heritage and vibrant neon punch colours, reflecting both the traditional and the new. To complement these graphics we also felt that people should be at the heart of this identity. Interacting with the typography and brand elements highlight the importance of engagement and experience – qualities that are also true of Liverpool.
