Tools To Teach

Built to teach

In aid of the construction crisis and skills shortage, Liverpool City Region colleges have collaborated in a recruitment campaign to encourage engineering and construction professionals to put down their tools and get into FE teaching.

We created a localised, regional marketing campaign that has boosted the applications for teaching roles across the North West.

We partnered with
Recruitment Campaign, Creative, Design, Radio, Website, PR & Digital Advertising
Working along side 6 regional colleges, and led by Wirral Met College, our ‘Tools To Teach’ campaign was designed to consider the future of construction and the part many professionals can play in helping retrain and up-skill the next generation’s workforce.
Considered a ‘crisis’ by the regional Mayor, Steve Rotherham (who himself trained as a ‘bricky’), it was important that the recruitment campaign had cut-through and accurately targeted the right audience.
This integrated campaign was delivered across various media including; Radio, Press, Targeted Ads, Web and Social.
Alongside the digital campaign assets we produced printed marketing materials for the colleges recruitment events. This included banners for event dressing and flyers with information on the teaching programme and the steps of how to become a teacher in construction or engineering.
